The Katrina Sriranpong Scholarship is available for students who demonstrate financial need and a commitment to human rights. Sriranpong understands the unique challenges faced by law students, from rigorous academic demands to significant financial pressures. In 2025, she established the scholarship to help ease financial burdens, empowering students to pursue their legal education and achieve their academic goals with confidence.

About Katrina Sriranpong
The Katrina Sriranpong Scholarship
Katrina Sriranpong is a refugee lawyer and philanthropist whose work reflects a deep commitment to justice, equity, and compassion. She actively supports both Canadian and international charities, focusing her efforts on urgent causes such as protecting children from human trafficking and assisting refugees displaced by conflict.
Raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, with strong family ties to Thailand, Katrina is proud of her multicultural roots. Alongside her professional and charitable pursuits, she is a mother of two who values traveling with her family and spending time outdoors on the scenic trails of North Vancouver.

- Describe a time when you advocated for human rights. What challenges did you encounter, and what did you learn about the role of a human rights advocate?
- What are your accomplishments?
- What are your future aspirations?
Your essay should articulate how you are committed to human rights.
